Anyone experiencing major life transitions
SAVE THE GREENS™ helps you clearly see your net worth, organize your financial picture, and negotiate from a place of strength. No confusion. No overwhelm. Just clean, clear data that protects your future.
What is SAVE THE GREENS™?
The SAVE THE GREENS Divorce Coaching system is Melissa’s signature offering, designed to bring clarity to individuals dealing with financial uncertainty during divorce, separation, or even widowhood.
This approach focuses on financial accountability, providing clients with a detailed understanding of their financial situation and teaching them how to communicate effectively with attorneys and other professionals. This streamlined method helps reduce costly legal fees and ensures that clients feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. The few hours spent with Melissa at a much reduced rate vs. attorneys at $300-$500/hour fees has saved clients as little as $2,500-$5,000 up front retainer fees to up to several thousands of dollars.
Why Clients Trust Melissa
As a Certified Divorce Specialist™ and member of the National Association of Divorce Professionals, Melissa blends emotional empowerment with tactical financial clarity—so you stay grounded, prepared, and in control.
One of her divorcing male clients experienced this firsthand:
“After fighting for over 15 months during my divorce, (spending well into 6 figures), Melissa helped me implement her SAVE THE GREENS system, and we settled in less than three months. The data she laid out helped stop the back-and-forth between attorneys, saving me both time and money. I am forever grateful for her coaching,” he says.
Recent testimonial from a woman in Georgia:
“I had the opportunity to get some financial advice from Melissa. She is always willing to help with good advice and ideas based on her experience with financial matters... She is friendly, well organized and willing to walk the extra mile for her clients.” she says.
NOTE – This woman and her husband are in the process of reconciling once they realized the financial ramifications of an impending divorce. This is NOT always the case, but it did have an unusual happy ending.

What's the difference between a divorce coach and a therapist?
A divorce coach helps you to manage all aspects of the divorcing process, as well as connecting you with other professionals needed in the separation of assets. A divorce coach also prioritizes:
- Managing divorce logistics (legal, financial, co-parenting strategies)
- Goal setting and planning during divorce
- Reducing conflict and stress through actionable steps and effective communication skills
- Communication strategies with attorneys, ex-spouses, or family
- Mindset support: helping clients stay positive, focused, and empowered
A divorce coach also helps clients to manage a successful transition to their next phase of life both financially and confidently assisting with tools to move forward.
A divorce coach is not licensed as a mental health professional (cannot diagnose or treat mental health disorders).
Can you work with clients remotely?
Yes! Melissa has helped people throughout the USA through remote meetings.
When should someone hire a divorce coach?
A divorce coach or Melissa should be hired before talking to an attorney so the client knows all the financial ramifications before moving forward in this process.
